    Craft Books:
Whenever I craft with something messy, like glue or paint, I always cover my work surface so I don't ruin my table. I have an old felt backed table cloth that I use but I often cover that table cloth with something disposable to make cleanup even easier. Some of the things I use are paper towels, newspaper, foil, wax paper or a piece of disposable table cloth (the thin plastic type).  Foil or a foil covered cutting board work especially well under a hot glue gun to catch the drops of glue without burning the table or table cloth.
