Kids will love to make this apple paperweight and bring it to their teacher on the first day of school. It's made by cutting the bottom off of a 20oz soda bottle, filling it with sand and decoupaging the outside of the bottle with red tissue paper. If you are not familiar with decoupage, it sounds complicated but basically all you are doing is gluing tissue or paper onto something and then spreading a layer of glue over the completed project.
